So I actually totally meant to mention this earlier but apparently I completely forgot. I recently came into possession of a Faerie Paint Brush and decided the best thing to do would be to sell it off, since they go for ~1mil and I didn't want to use it. So I threw it up on the trading post, description "~1mil, or nm offers".
Big mistake.
So far I've been offered ~900k by a few people, 300k and an island xweetok morphing potion, 500k and two codestones, and 950k by the same person at least twice.
I got two actual offers on the trading post, but both were withdrawn before I could even see what they were - maybe because I didn't reply quickly enough? Except that they were both withdrawn after only a few hours. Who expects a response from somebody they don't even know is online after just a few hours? I've had to wait over a week just to get turned down! Entitled jerks.
The sad thing is, if one of them had offered me the ~1mil I'd asked for, they'd have gotten it. That's all I'm waiting for. Just ~1mil. I don't think it's that outrageous; that seems to be the going price, and some asshole's asking for twice that. I don't even know what they're going for in the auctions. Although maybe I'll throw it up there starting at ~1mil if I don't get a decent offer out of the trading post.
Probably the weirdest part, though, is that I don't even know why I want the np. I just kinda do. I don't have to make up costs or anything; I got the item through the prize shop from the last plot, since I had enough points for it and no real reason not to grab it. I'm not going to take less than it's worth, though; I don't want to be rid of it that badly.
