Despite what my parents believe, I don't like setting them at odds against each other, if only because I then have to listen to them bitching about each other and that shit gets old quick. So I really hate it when they force me to do it. You know, "Why don't just you ask your dad then!" kind of thing. (Admittedly, I did ask dad, but only because I'm too wussy to want an unexcused absence on my record along with my... fff, 12 excused ones.)
Also, Powell Street's 45 degree incline sucks balls. My legs are way way way too stiff after that, and I didn't even walk up/down Powell St that much! |:<
Also also, my head hurts something fierce. Dad thinks it's 'cause I was arguing with mum, to which I replied that I have no idea why my head hurts so much, but no, I really do know. It's because I did too much reading (read: all the reading I did yesterday/today, which was actually kind of a lot) without wearing my glasses. Which means that, while I'm not blind, per se, I do need my glasses in order to properly function! ...which is cool, because, hey, glasses, but is not cool when I'm not wearing them and they're on the other side of the house and I'm too lazy to walk over and get them before I start reading. \:
Additionally, I've learned something about myself this morning. I realised that I only let myself get really worked up over inconsequential things (fandom and everything it entails, mostly), and way way way downplay the things that are actually important, because if I let myself get worked up over things that most people would actually get worked up over, I'd probably just start screaming and never stop. So... it's a survival skill, I guess.
