ahhhhhh mum needs to get up so I can take a shower :c I should have taken one last night, but I was too busy working on art!
Speaking of, I was so super lazy with the shading on that orz. b-but shading on stripes is annoying...! It's still pretty decent, though, and I do like that style (what is it, pseudo-cel-shading?) better than the semi-realistic one I had going on before. Some day I'll learn how to choose highlight colors! Those probably would have been very helpful in that art, what with the whole black-on-very-almost-nearly-black thing going on in there. Some day I'll also learn how to shade a face! That would also be amazing. (I... think I meant to define the lips better. Oops.)
Totes not taking history test today. Or the DBQ, for that matter. Hi there, completely empty first block, how are you? Of course, if I had the notes for the "visuals" that she apparently lectured on while I was gone, then I would take the test and I would write the essay. But apparently catching up people who have missed two days of class is too haaaaaard or something... right.
Anyway, enough whining from me. I'm going to go take that shower nowand freeze! central heating, I miss you ):
edit: Aaaaaand no matter how long I blow-dry my hair, it never gets fully dry ;____; Well, if I have to walk in the rain, I guess it doesn't matter \:
To do list:
- fix up Mao art: add more shading to shirt, thicken lines on face (especially around eyes)
-do history ids (ch 16, 1-6, due friday) finish analyses 5 + 6
- find examples for APE project (due tuesday)
