So I guess Pete and Ashlee are getting divorced. I wonder if this means we'll see Fall Out Boy come back? (Probably not, though I suppose it's a nice idea. I still do want to see them live again.)

Also, apparently Comcast has a New Thing. I found this out when mum informed me, "This is a box that was outside. It is from Comcast and I have no idea what it is. You should find out." (Okay, so she didn't say it like that at all. But that's basically what she said.) So I opened the box, and found... another box. And a letter that explained absolutely nothing. The explanation was, naturally, on the outside of the other box. So I read that, was still mildly confused, opened the second box, found the instruction sheet in there, and found the thing that said 'If you aren't sure what you're doing, go here and find out!'

So I went there, and then spent ten minutes trying to find the bit of help that the instruction sheet assured me that I would find there. I still didn't find the bit of help I was promised, but I did figure things out eventually. So this New Thing is for the TV in the other room, not the TV in the living room, and it is therefore not my problem and my brother can have fun installing it in his room himself. I even left him the instructions.

Also, I know a guy named Garland. (I've known him for a while, since he was in my physics class, but Facebook just suggested that I friend him, so I was reminded of his existence.) I don't know what Garland he's named after, but I do know that when I jokingly said "Be careful, he might knock you all down," in reference to him in physics class, he did not understand the reference. And yet, that is all I can think of when I see his name. He, Garland, will knock you all down. (Well, he won't, because he doesn't get the reference, but if he did then he probably would.)

I have precal homework. It was weird - after saying that we didn't have homework, my precal teacher assigned us homework. (He's also refusing to teach us certain things on the basis that "This is all review from Algebra/Algebra II/etc and you guys all remember it" when... no, we really don't. But that's another rant.) Of course, in my precal class I've started to alternate between wanting to punch this one really annoying kid in the face and wanting to shoot myself in the head, so I guess surprise random homework after we were told no homework really isn't anything to be surprised by and I should probably quit complaining and just do it.
