IT"S FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH, OMG

Or, you know, not. I don't think I would have noticed, except I was trying to figure out if there should be a new episode of Grammar Girl. (There should be. There isn't.)

New iPod playlist, one I'd been meaning to make for a while. And now I have! :D Also, I heard the BBS version of Dearly Beloved, and, hnnnnngh it's so pretty *___* I never actually liked Dearly Beloved and then I heard a trance remix and I've been in love with the song ever since. I forget which KH soundtrack I bought the twins (knowing me, probably both of them) but whichever it is I want to borrow it so I can rip it and listen to Dearly Beloved in all its forms, all day long~ And, you know, the other songs, too. (I know I bought the KH2 one, because I remember it has the Atlantica musical songs in Japanese.)

Actually, I should go back to the store I bought those at, because they might have the BBS soundtrack, too. And if they do, I will buy it, because if there's one thing in the world that I need more of, it's JRPG soundtracks. (KH is a JRPG, right? I mean, it's an RPG... and it's Japanese... so, surely, it's a JRPG? At least,  it should be a JRPG, because it's not a Western RPG... huh. My brain is starting to hurt. It's too early for this.)

My cat is looking at me like I'm committing some kind of crime, because I'm not paying attention to him. It's a very cat thing to do.

The farmers' market was pretty cool. The first thing we did was get grilled corn on the cob, which mum then proceeded to put entirely too much butter on. /: It was still really tasty, though. We looked around for a bit after that; there were a surprising number of not-food-related stalls there. Like the pony rides. And the Boy Scouts. And the live band. It's a summer thing, I guess. Mum was looking for grapes, but she didn't find any. There were at least three baked goods stalls, though; we stopped at one of them, and picked up a blueberry scone and some cookies. They were chocolate orange and they were absolutely delicious. The scone was really good, too, even though I've been picking out most of the blueberries. (I like blueberry flavoured stuff, but I don't like whole blueberries. Most of the ones in the scone are pretty mushy, though, so they aren't so bad.)

And then we went to the grocery store, and bought twenty dollars' worth of flavoured water. /: We went to Wal-Mart before that, so mum could get more yarn (she's on a crocheting thing right now) and also some candy. I was kind of kicking myself for not buying movie candy, but I actually did get a little bit, so that's cool. And then I can take some of the flavoured water with me, too, so all I have to buy at the cinema is my ticket and some popcorn. And since it's the first showing, the tickets are only $6.25 each (as opposed to the regular matinee price, which is $7.50).

And now I'm eating a sandwich. :9 Mmmm, sandwich. I think I'm going to wait for my iPod to finish charging, and then I'll play more P3P. Gotta go save Fuuka!

edit: Remind me never to put both cheddar and monterey jack on the same sandwich. They're tasty on their own, but they're too strong to go together... n_n; Also, I was worried about being underlevelled in P3P, but apparently I've got the opposite problem, judging by the playthrough I was reading earlier. Right now I'm around the same level that player is, but I'm two weeks behind. (Of course, that person also has more social links than I do... n_n; Though, the only two I'm really concerned about are Moon and Fortune, lol.)

Also my cat is a goofball and also adorable. I can say that, because earlier he was being demanding and ate some of my scone, and then he was being all cute and asleep, and now he's chillin' under my blanket, and hasn't stopped purring since he found his way under there.

Watching my cats grooming each other. They do so violently, it's awesome.

Been trying to get back into Metroid lately; it's not really working, but meh. I think I may have gotten Kristen interested, which would be cool if it's true. I guess I'm just not in a real "gaming" kind of mood. I haven't been for a while, though, and that's what's bugging me. After an entire year of not gaming all that much (thank you, AP, I totally wanted that) have I just fallen out of the habit of it? (It might help if I could find my PS2 controller... oops. Otherwise all I can do is suck at Metroid Prime - and I do mean suck, because I'm absolutely terrible at it.)

I think maybe the heat's just got me in a weird mood right now.

Also, I heard the actual Green Day version of Last of the American Girls on the radio a little while ago, and... ugh. The musical version is infinitely better.

Ice water and then art; maybe trying an upper-body shot will make me feel better. (Or I might just get frustrated... that's also a possibility.)

edit: OH OH OH ALSO. Shinx!egg. I don't even know.

My cat is dumber than a fucking dog, but I love him anyway. /has been letting the fleabag sleep in her room all week

Also, Valkyrie Profile 2 hells yes! I'd love to get the first one, also, but I don't have $80 to spend on a PSX game. /: That's okay, some dumbass on Amazon is trying to sell his used copy (in 'acceptable' condition, apparently, not even very good or great) for $999.99. Yeah. Even the douchebag selling his brand-new, factory-sealed copy is only asking like $575.

(If you can't tell, I'm not a big fan of buying a game and then never opening it and just sitting on it for ten years. That shit is not cash. ...okay, so if it's your second copy or something then I guess it makes sense, but christ, games are meant to be played, not stared at on a shelf.)

The cat slept with me last night. The cat is fine. I am happy :D

Was woken up by combination of cat and shower sounds. That was... an hour ago? Something like that. I've spent the rest of the time checking the internet and watching The Fifth Element, which is odd.

I'm going to start reading Huck Finn once I'm through checking internetland. Since I really need to do that. x: (Read the book, I mean, not check internetland.)

J'ai un nouveau portable. Il est un Samsung Flight. Il s'appelle Lancelot.

...well, I have to practice my French somehow. Anyway, that's pretty much the gist of it, except for the part where the digits in the number add up to six. (Only if you don't add the area code, anyway; with that it's three, and plus country code on top of that is four. But for your basic telephone number, it's six.) 'Course, that doesn't explain why I feel like I've sold my soul to get the damn thing. ...though that might explain why I got super dizzy and had to leave the mall twice during the process of buying the phones. |: (I don't have to pay anything for it, though, since after rebate my phone is free, and after dropping a couple things on the contract that dad and brother had, and then adding me, it's... the same as it was before.)

I'm worrying about my cat, now, too. Well, I mean, the last thing any pet owner wants to find is vomit and blood, so of course I'm worried. I mean, there was a claw in it, and there was some blood on his paw, so at first I thought he may have snagged a claw really bad, but his claws all look fine, and he's still acting like maybe there's something caught in his throat, so... yeah, I'm worried. ):

In happier news, I have fifteen chapters of Huckleberry Finn to read and 30 IDs to do tomorrow, and I just found out that David Boreaneaz voiced Leon in the first Kingdom Hearts. And I can't get my free ringtones to work. |:

(Also, trivia: my phone is called Lancelot because, when I turn it on, it says 'Marching Ever Onward To Tomorrow'. :D )

edit: And then I figured out the ringtone thing wasn't working because the file was too big. Working on fixing that right now, so I can at least have awesome Godot ringtone... even if I still have to worry about waking up to dead cat. ):
