Enough to know that Vanitus (still debating whether or not I should actually shorten that to Van, makes me think of the commandant) is basically KH's version of Albedo and I cannot wait to see that in action. \o/ If he's being voiced by who IMDb says he's being voiced by, it can only end in either failure or pure awesome. Personally, I'm hoping for the pure awesome.
...aaaaaaaaaah why can't this game come out sooooooooner TT_TT In the meantime I'll just have to play the first KH, broken only when I need better gameplay and more Kairi being awesome in KH2and possibly fun with cards if I ever get my Re:CoM back /fistshake. Haha, I just got used to moving the camera with L2 and R2 again and then I switched back to KH2 and oh hey right analog stick camera controls! I missed you~ I'm dreading gummi ship sequences in KH1 again ;___; They're not as railshooter-like as in KH2 but having to do them every time you want to go to another world, ugh, so annoying. And I have this habit of going right past the world I meant to go to and then having to do the whole thing over again @_@
Also, I realised earlier today how the voice acting for KH1's supporting cast was really awesome. I mean, Lance Bass, Mandy Moore, Christy Carlson Romano, David Boreaneaz, Billy Zane, and more that I can't think of off the top of my head, those are big names and big talent. And then in KH2... suddenly everyone's got different voices!~ (Except for Cloud. I thought his VA might have changed, but apparently Square really likes Steve Burton. Which I don't have a problem with.) And some of those voices were... a big change.
I mean, Epcar's Ansem is so ridiculously different from Zane's Ansem. It's still really good, it's just different, and is therefore kind of a shocker for people who didn't know about it (and even people who did, probably). Yuffie's voice was noticeably different, I don't think anyone noticed the change with Sephiroth because 1) he has like no lines in the first KH and 2) it's the same VA from Advent Children, so it sounds familiar; and Leon's new VA is arguably better than Boraneaz (though that may be because he has more lines in KH2). Hell, the only one that can really be considered bad is Mena Suvari, which... yeah, not touching that one. (I liked her better in Advent Children. She also only had like half a line in Advent Children. Correlation? I think so.)
...which is to say, there are so many changes from KH1 to KH2. |: Some of them are really good, some of them are not so good, and overall even though I really want to play KH1 again, I think I'd rather play the refined KH2. Of course, more than that, I think I'd rather play Birth By Sleep, but I don't really have that option right now. |:

Mum's going to be in a different building tomorrow so she probably can't see Nichelle Nichols ;____; /was totes looking forward to hearing about it
Also, started in on APUSH IDs. 3/28, woot!
I was hoping for a Detective Gumshoe meal tonight. Unfortunately, mum thinks hot dogs and rice sounds weird. /: But she bought Ruffles so at least I can have chips with my hot dogs :9 I'm really hungry, haha.
Also, I've learned that Mabel has kidney cancer, and is soon going in to have one of her kidneys removed because of it. This should be important, as Mabel is, after all, family, but since I have never met her and have only spoken to her all of... like, five times over the phone (all at least five years ago), it's not really hitting me. /: /feels Nobody-ish
Speaking of Nobodies, I read a theory somewhere that it's not that they don't have feelings, but rather that their feelings only pertain to things that pertain to them - that is, that they're sociopathic. I like this theory. It makes sense.

Monday, 11 January 2010 06:16 pmTotes meant to make this post earlier, then I got sucked in by FF12 again. I beat Ghis! :D! I was stuck on him the last time I played through, then this time I used like 4 Quickenings and killed him in less than a minute. /overkill
I've got a Birth By Sleep theory. (Another one, anyway.) I think Terra is the Xehanort we're all familiar with, or will end up becoming him. Unlike my last theory, this one actually kind of makes sense! (Well, if you think 'his hair looks kinda like Xehanort's and his eyes turn orange at one point during the opening cutscene' makes it make sense, anyway...) But I'm not going to find out if I'm right or not until I actually play the game because I am VERY DECIDEDLY NOT SPOILING MYSELF. I did that with Folklore and I'm still pissed at myself for it orz So it's not happening this time. (While I'm on the subject... not spoiling FF13, either! Not happening!)
One more go at downloading the opening cutscene for my iPod and then I'm moving on to English homework. It's only ten ids, it should be easy! ...until I start working on the project, anyway. |:

Monday, 7 December 2009 11:20 amMore working on art project. I finished shading Dorm Snorlax Dorm and started in on the background. The water was incredibly difficult, mainly due to the fact that Vaporeon Mizu is partially in it. I ended up making it look relatively decent, though, through a series of very boring steps that I was going to type out and then decided not to because... it's really boring.
I missed Lelouch's birthday... again! D: Speaking of, there's apparently a new Code Geass project in the works. I'm looking forward to it.
Switching gears to KH, there's apparently a Ventus-Braig connection that I was unaware of? This requires research!
