Tuesday, 9 February 2010 08:58 pmSo I just taught myself to use Windows Movie Maker. Of course, by 'taught myself' I mean 'spent five minutes figuring out how to set up my copy of the BBS intro with Simple and Clean instead of Hikari, only to find that the game mix of Simple and Clean I have is a few seconds too long at the beginning, so lamenting and trying to do a photo montage for three minutes instead, only to learn that I can trim down audio clips, and so spending the next five minutes trying to trim the beginning of the game mix of Simple and Clean to sync up with the video the way it's supposed to.'
This is important, because my French project is due on Thursday, and my partner and I haven't started filming yet. Also, neither of us have a real video camera, so we're probably using the camera on my iPod. Which means I'm the one who gets to edit the clips together and hope to God that the final, exported project works on Madame's computer. And also deal with the shitty sound quality that comes from using an iPod as a replacement camcorder.
Did I mention that we have to shoot this in the school bathroom? Yeah, it just keeps getting better and better. /:
