Saturday, 8 October 2011 11:03 pmToday I made food, then went out and ate more food, then bought green nail varnish that turned out to be nowhere near as dark as the bottle would have you believe. Still, it's dark enough after a few coats, so my plan of green-and-silver nails is still on. :D (I should have bought new silver, as my silver is actually blue-silver, but that's okay.)
Last night I went out for ramen with friends. That was rather a bit more fun than I thought it would be. We then proceeded to head over to Neku's house and play this new card game her boyfriend got for his birthday. I was the first person to make the D&D comparison, and while at first I was assured that no, this game was totally different, the general consensus two hours later, when the game was finally over, was that it probably would have been easier if we were playing D&D. Still, it was pretty fun just hanging out with everyone. :D
Apparently my mum's car ate one of my arm warmers or something, as I know they were in the bottom of the laundry bag but she insists that she only ever saw one of them. When I complained about the new lack of arm warmers I was directed to a crochet pattern that she had printed out. Which is okay, I guess, because I did want to make myself some arm warmers anyway. The actual process - as I suspect the end result will be - was marginally less okay.
I spent the last two hours crocheting burgundy arm warmers with a gold crochet hook. I feel like such a house traitor.
(The really painful part is that, despite me following the pattern exactly, the first one didn't fit. So I get to start all over again.)
I'm pretty eager to go to bed earlier tonight than I did last night, since I've got nail painting, crocheting, and homework in my future tomorrow.
