Thursday, 12 April 2012 07:53 amAs it happens, I'm apparently coming into possession of a new iPod sometime in the next two weeks. I'm not sure what to name it, however. My current iPod is named Balmung. Do I name the new one Orca? Or do I name it Balmung mk.2 and rename my kindle Orca? (I can't pass up on the thematic naming, there, plus it would mean that any new phone I get - if I ever get one; at this rate it seems pretty unlikely - could be called Albireo.) Or do I keep my kindle as Calliope and name the iPod Euterpe? (Theme naming, again...)
Yeah, I know. First world problems. Still.
It would be nice to carry the muses around with me, but it seems kind of silly naming something after a muse when it's going to have so much Muse on it anyway. (um. That was bad. I should apologise.) Which reminds me, on the Wikipedia page for Muse - well, it's actually the page for the muses; for Muse the band you have to go to Muse (band). But! That page informs me that Muse is putting out a new album this fall! As someone who's been complaining about wanting a new Muse album I feel that's quite timely and also yes.
October! Haha, that's going to be awesome.
In the meantime, my French class today has been cancelled, but I still have to be at campus around nine-thirty today anyway, unless I want to skip English class. I actually like English class, so I don't really want to skip it! (Besides, I already skipped astronomy last night, so I would feel bad.) Unfortunately English isn't until one-thirty in the afternoon. Oops.
