You tumble out of bed and run to the window, but a falling light transports you to a new world.

[Door to heaven. Fitting!]
When you come to, you are in a strange place.
Hysteria :: Muse
[Lyrically this doesn't make as much sense, but I'm sure I would be rather hysterical if I woke up in a strange place.]
You wander for a bit and come to a city.

A strange man approaches you. You can't see his face. What does he say?
Bonus Track :: Takeharu Ishimoto
[The actual title of this song appears to be something like "Emptiness and" so I... guess he said something about emptiness.]
Upon hearing that, you run away, only to have the main villains chase after you. They call you an unfamiliar name.
Prayer of the Refugee :: Rise Against
[Refugee? Prayer? Idk.]
You duck into a deserted alley and that same cloaked man is standing in front of you. He takes off the cloak to reveal that he is a beautiful young man. And he tells you:
Passion~after the battle~ :: Utada Hikaru
[That he loves me despite just meeting me? That's not awkward in the slightest.]
Once you arrive, you find a cast of characters who all seem to recognize you. Confused, you ask for an explanation from the young man, who calls himself:
I'm Like a Lawyer With The Way I'm Always Trying to Get You Off (Me & You) :: Fall Out Boy
[That is a very long name, young man :| ]
You find out that you are the reborn savior of this world. The name of this world is:
Knights of Cydonia :: Muse
[So I guess it's called Cydonia. That's cool, I guess.]
The villains find you and your friends and capture them. The young man bids you to run and leave the rest behind.
Vampires Will Never Hurt You :: My Chemical Romance
[So I guess the villains are vampires. That's just great.they better not sparkle]
You are the only one who has escaped, but you know that you have to rescue your friends. Steeling your heart, you set off, determined to find the leader of the villains, whose name is whispered with fear.
L'amour et la liberte :: NAOKI underground
[Oh, if only humans and vampires could live in the world together, in harmony with each other! ...ffff what am I saying that's stupid]
Upon arriving at the castle, you burst in and demand your friends' release. The leader reveals that he is actually a:

[...suicidal vampire? Oh, lovely. Just step into the sunlight, dumbass!]
Shocked, nevertheless, you must battle. You somehow magically remember your past life and all your past life's abilities. Your weapon _______ appears at your side.
Get Busy Living or Get Busy Dying (Do Your Part to Save the Scene and Stop Going to Shows) :: Fall Out Boy
[My weapon, "long-winded title"? Huh, must have gotten it from that strange-yet-apparently-beautiful young man.]
It is a long and arduous battle and you are both exhausted. Finally, you demand the villain's name. And they smile before telling you:
That Green Gentleman [live] :: Panic! At the Disco
[WHAT IS WITH ALL THESE PEOPLE AND NOT HAVING REAL NAMES.]
Finally, you strike the villain down. They are vanquished, and with a sad smile, they tell you their last words.
Grenade Jumper :: Fall Out Boy
[My name was apparently Chris, I was his only friend, and he knows it's belated but he loves me back? Yeah, in hindsight maybe trying to kill me wasn't the best way to go about telling that. NICE GOING, ASSHOLE.]
The villain spirals up into the sky as a tower of dancing lights and your friends are freed. The leader's minions were actually all conveniently brainwashed and now are all on your side. They give you your new title:
I Ran (So Far Away} :: A Flock of Seagulls
[...the only un-insulting title I can make out of that song is, like, aurora or something. So I guess that's my new title.]
You look down in surprise as your start fading away into lights, much like the villain has. Your friends are also surprised, and you exchange tearful farewells. Apparently you're also dying.
Metroid Techno Remix
[ffff of course I'm dying, damn you That Green Gentleman /fistshake. Though I guess if I had to fade away into lights to any song, this is not a bad one to fade away into lights to.]
You give one final look to the beautiful young man and he tells you something important. Those words are:
