eighthphaseSo today in my speech class we discussed possible topics for our demonstration speeches. I knew that whatever I picked had to be easy for me to pull off quickly, because I ended up getting put on the first day - which is next Tuesday - so I don't get that much time to prepare.
Over the course of the hour and a half that I was in class, I went from "I have no idea what to do" to "maybe I'll show how to make a Heartless plush, since I already made one" to "maybe I could make a katamari" to "I'm going to do a walkthrough on my Garrus drawing". Except that it would have to be a new Garrus drawing, because I don't have progress shots of the other one.
Then I started outlining. I have basically the entire outline; I just have to do a bit of research and put everything in proper sentences. But it was around then that I started thinking "maybe I should draw Fem!Shep instead". And I couldn't shake it! So I was conflicted.
After my English class I texted Neku, and her suggestion was "Garrus is cooler but would take more effort, so you should choose based on how much time you have". Except that I have plenty of time to do Garrus, but I just couldn't choose.
And then I remembered that I have the forehead-touch cap from the Garrus romance scene, which has both of them in it. So I could just draw that.
(Now, if I can manage this without my teacher complaining that I didn't actually demo anything in-class, that would be ace. I'm not sure if I'll be so lucky, but that would be nice.)
