Living is expensive. I'm realising this just now, as I've reached the point of life (not quite 17) where most of my family seems to think that I should be able to take AP classes, be in Girl Scouts, have a job, pay my part of a phone bill, use my own money to buy lunch, and be able to pay for anything else I may want or need. And when I say 'most of my family' I mean 'my dad and brother'.
In other news, I've given up on ever owning a working PS3 again, as I'm the only person who actually cares enough (read: has invested enough time and money into it to actually care about) getting it working again, and the people who should be helping me with it/actually care about it are so incredibly uncaring about it that they're quickly reaching the point of preventing me from working to get it fixed. Added to the above, this means I've realised that not eating in order to save money for a game I'll never actually get to play is stupid, and I should therefore cancel my pre-order of FFXIII, transfer the deposit to the guide (which is limited edition and therefore still worth buying) and start actually eating lunch again.
...of course, I'm complaining about all this right after I got my dad to spend $400 on me (on things he's said he would buy for... a while, now) so feel free to write off everything else I've said as "spoiled brat whining about things not going her way".
