Saturday, 26 March 2011 08:35 amHaircut acquired! If I style it properly it actually does look kind of like Sakura, so that's cool. I can even do the pigtail thing she does in the anime. It's cute.
Going Adventuring today :D A trip to Great America, with Ruchia-chan! In the rain! My primary objective is to win a Pokémon plush for Waller (even though she told me not to). If I can't win one, then I'll buy one, but I'm definitely getting her one this weekend.
Also, somehow Panic! At the Disco managed to release their new album without me even noticing. Then I saw it in iTunes (I was checking to see if there was anything I wanted to buy, since iTunes sent me a "You have a balance in your account! You must not have known this, because you haven't spent it" email) and remembered that Ruchia told me to watch the Ballad of Mona Lisa music video. She'd added the modifier, "and it looks kind of like steampunk, so you might like it" when describing the video, which was either a huge mistake or a calculated risk, because she knows I like steampunk.
And then I watched the video. And it was glorious. And it was very, very steampunk. I think I died a little on the inside, especially when I realised that they're touring this album, and the costuming and set design are probably going to be steampunk, and I'm probably not going to go see them when they play in SF. But that's okay, because I'm not so sure I want to see them perform without Ryan anyway I:
In other news, I have a precalculus test on Monday. I was supposed to have this test on Thursday but them my precal teacher decided to be lame and push it back to Friday then Monday. ...but that was okay, because we had a sub yesterday anyway. I think I might also have a government test on Monday! But I'm not sure, because we had a sub in government basically all week and my teacher hasn't updated her webpage yet. (She probably won't until around nine on Sunday night. That's just how she rolls.)
The best part about having hair so short is that there is basically nothing I can do to it. It will do what it wants to do. Of course, that doesn't mean that I still don't need to get ready to go out... /:
