Sunday, 21 August 2011 08:35 amI am officially the smartest person ever. And by "smartest person ever" I mean that I am really, really dumb.
First, yesterday I participated in a five-hour long garage sale. No problem, right? Well, I didn't put on any sunblock. No problem, right? Well, no; for me and my stupidly pale skin, it turned out to be a really really big problem. So now I have really dumb tanlines right under my shoulders, and the rest of my arms are basically bright red; and about half my face is burned, too, so I look kinda like Two-Face. Which would be cool, except... actually, no, there is no situation that would make that cool.
Then, today, I checked my email (still nothing from Pottermore! /fistshake) and saw something from my stats teacher, informing us as to the materials we need for the class and the things we need to do to get a good grade; that kind of thing. So I spend ten minutes searching the email and its attached document for the textbook I need to buy, because if I need it before the week is out then I'm going to have to buy it, like, now, right? But as it turns out, it's actually this online ebook lab thing, so it's not like you just buy a textbook and it ships to you or anything; it seems to be more like you buy agame textbook through Steam the site and then download it. (At least I hope you can download the textbook, because my internet's been really wonky lately, so having to do it all online would kind of really suck.)
At least the access code you have to buy is cheaper than a lot of maths textbooks. So I guess there's that.
Anyway, my arms hurt and my brain says it's too early and my Tamagotchi (don't judge me!) is still asleep, which although it sounds like a good idea isn't something I should really do (because I sleep on my side - which means I sleep on my arms, which currently still really hurt from, uh, when I was sleeping earlier). So I'll find something to do; it's not like there isn't still a ton of stuff I need to do anyway.
