(I plan on making them cookies - maybe bars, I guess, depending on what kind of tin I find - and sending those with the arm warmers. Or hand-delivering, if this trip to Davis ever actually gets going. I'm not entirely certain.) I went flipping through a cookbook but none of the recipes appealed except this one for mini chocolate truffle cupcakes, which are decidedly not cookies and aren't going to ship very well.
Here's irony for you: two weeks after I learn to make replacement arm warmers, my lost one gets found.
This isn't irony, but it's still amusing on the other end: I spent over an hour on the weekend trying to force past the Feros cutscene so that the barrier would go down, then yesterday remembered that I'd enabled the cheat console and that there is, in fact, a walk-through-walls code. I activated it and walked right through the barrier, no problem.
In other news, I guess crocheting six or seven hours a day for a week and a half isn't actually all that good for your wrist... though, oddly enough, the wrist bothering me isn't the wrist doing all the movement. Still, I've got it in a brace right now so that I don't mess it up too badly (typing is hard). I actually can still crochet with it on but I imagine that's not a particularly good idea, so I'm going to look for a book to read or something. (Or maybe I'll just take more painkillers and crochet anyway, who knows.) There's always Game of Thrones... or, you know, something slightly more interesting. I don't think it's bad, exactly... it just isn't really holding my interest, and anyway, I don't think I've so much as looked at it in over a month; I don't even remember what's going on in it.
I'm not really sure what to grab, though. If I had time I'd just look around a bit, but I actually need tofind breakfast get ready soon, so that's rather a bit out. Well, I'll find something, I'm sure.
