I did finish my outline in good time, and I did kind of lose it while doing my research as I thought I would, but it was at home, so that was fine. I did the speech today and I'm... not entirely certain how it worked out. The professor thought it was great, but then I kind of hit on some nostalgia, since she actually remembers watching the televised bits of Apollo mission. I'm pretty sure I came off as trying too hard. Then again, I guess that's not exactly a bad thing - I was trying pretty hard, because I think it's awesome and I think everyone should.
And then later in English class I got to tell everybody my ~*~true dream~*~ of wanting to write about space so that people get involved in space exploration. I believe I also may have said something like "I want to write a book involving a novelist living on the moon and then later, at some point in my life, be that novelist living on the moon." I console myself with the idea that it's really not as far-fetched as it seems.
I should probably be doing stats homework right now, and I will totally get started on that. Right after I catch up with twitter and tumblr. :D
