eighthphaseSo it turns out that the worst possible thing that could happen to you, when you're preparing visual aids for a speech you have to give the next day, is for your progress images to be blurry and hard to see. It's not so bad with the shading images but for the ones that are all lines I basically have to take them into GIMP and draw over all the lines so that they're actually visible. Of course I have to adjust contrast on all of them, since I took photos (I picked the sketchbook that was too big to scan. This was a mistake) and the lighting on them is all weird ]: So I have a ton of work to do.
On the plus side, I already wrote up my note cards and practised my speech, so there's that. I need to cut a bit from my materials section (and rewrite my note cards orz) but otherwise it's all ace. So I can spend all night going over my progress shots and fixing them so that they don't look like ass. (As for me, there's not a whole lot I can do to make myself not perform terribly. But that's probably just my nervousness talking. (Apparently my nervous casual asides generate interest! I never would have guessed.)
At any rate, I'm currently sitting in my stats class, which is about to start (although I imagine the teacher will be late, as usual). So I should probably actually start doing statistics.
