And then my download died. And then the second (actually third) mirror I tried seemed lightning fast~! but slowed down. It's still over an hour, but it was at 30 minutes for a good... five minutes. (Because it froze up. /: )

There was a lockdown during first. It only lasted like twenty minutes, though. Apparently I'm psychic, I think, because I heard some shouting and car door-slamming and thought, "Hey, wonder what it would be like to have a lockdown in this classroom." And then like a minute later Mr Hanson came over the PA and announced that we were in lockdown. (And also, I was all, "Didn't he say the lockdown would be lifted in a few minutes?" and then a minute later he announced that the lockdown was lifted. My timing is amazing.)

Also, I thought Meg Whitman seemed like a pretty good candidate for governor. I mean, I've seen the commercials, obviously, and, being a student, think that having a governor who says, "Yeah, let's give the schools more money!" is a good thing. Of course, her.. people, I guess, for lack of a better word, have been running a ton of attack ads against Poizner, the other Republican candidate. Which... well, that's a part of campaigning, right? But then I saw another one, one I had never seen before. This one cited even more of his "liberal" attributes. Like supporting abortion and making it not entirely impossible to get, and having Planned Parenthood's approval. And these things are apparently too liberal, therefore making Meg Whitman the better candidate for governor.

Yeah, I don't think she's all that cool any more.

And my download is still taking forever. COME ON, I JUST WANT TO PLAY LA TALE. ):
